Cometeer ​– Flavorful Instant Coffee Capsules

Coffee capsules or K-cups have become a quick and delicious solution for coffee lovers. By simply placing a pill in the machine or pouring hot water, you have a cup of coffee with an intense and revitalizing flavor. However, most of these capsules are manufactured with materials that are not entirely recyclable, thus being detrimental to the environment.

Inspired by their love for coffee and the environment, Matthew Roberts and Douglas Hoon joined forces in 2020 to create Cometeer coffee, a hyper-flavorful line of instant coffee capsules packaged in 100% recyclable aluminum containers. But what made this innovative product worthy of a Specialty Coffee Expo award in Boston was its innovative self-freezing technology which turns the capsule into an ice cube. In that way, you just need to pour hot water or milk, to get an instant and vibrant cup of coffee.
