According to UNICEF and the World Health Organization, 1 out of 3 people worldwide don't have access to clean water. This problem results in 1.5 million people dying annually from diarrheal diseases, the majority of them, children under five years old. This situation motivated Eise Van Maanen to create Jerry, a low-cost and self-cleaning device capable of filtering more than 10.000 liters of water.

Jerry fits perfectly onto any Jerry cans, and it can replace the lid to function as a water filter and a protective tap. The product contains three filters that work together to eliminate over 99.999% of bacteria, parasites, and viruses from the water, making it safe to drink. It also contains a self-cleaning mechanism that cleans water automatically with every pump stroke, ensuring that the filter is maintained and lasts longer without a complex cleaning procedure. It expands the lifespan of Jerry’s water filters to over 10.000 liters of water.
