Hoga – A Flat-Packed Vehicle for a Sustainable Future
Year over year, new technological features are incorporated into cars, making them more expensive and complex. Ryan Schlotthauer, an industrial designer based in Los Angeles, has created Hӧga, a car prototype imagining a fictional collaboration between IKEA and Renault.
With an estimated cost of 6,500 dollars, Hӧga cars come in a box with 347 pieces that can be assembled by one person in just a few hours. The compact vehicle is fabricated on an A-frame design with body panel gaps and roll cage bars to assure the safety of passengers. But that’s not it. Interiors are fully customizable to fit in any extra transportation you need.
